Outpost of 2 Star Michelin Sushi Kanesaka , Tokyo
Mentor and group owner of 3 star michelin Sushi Saito in Akasaka, Tokyo (see post). Very interestingly, we were told that all fish at Saito are sourced and carved from Sushi Kanesaka every morning before being sent to the 3-star Saito (ie. exactly the same fish). We, however, thought there’s whole world of difference between our experiences at each place, withstanding the fact that this is NOT the real Sushi Kanesaka but the Singapore outpost, so it’s only natural that there is no comparison between the two. Many dishes were very similar nevertheless.
